Nicaribbean Charities for Health and Community Development (NICC) is a non-profit organization founded in May 2011. We are a group of volunteers dedicated to health and community development in the most disadvantaged communities of the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua. We promote health awareness, provide free medical and dental care, free labor and resources to improve the infrastructure of residents homes, civil service facilities, churches, and schools. We are dentist, medical doctors, nurses, carpenters, truck drivers, housekeepers, secretaries, stay at home moms and dads, and people from all walks of life who all have one thing in common: We care about Nicaragua!
Membership is free and open to ANY individual who would like to be a volunteer!
Our trips are one to two weeks in length & all volunteers pay their own way. NICC provides all the materials and will arrange and coordinate transportation during the trips.
ALL donations of any size are welcomed and appreciated! All donations will go towards fulfilling the goals of NICC in our assistance to Nicaragua.
